MATCH 1

Vinny Reno Vs. Dane Tarsen

Vinny Reno 6í 195 29yo
Dane Tarsen 5í10" 180 36yo

Vinny Reno (navy blue speedos) wanted this match badly. He met Dane (Blue with with strip speedos) the night before, when Dane arrived from London. Dane was convinced he can take the NYC big guy and that just made Vinny more determined not to lose. When Dane suggested a "real" no holds barred match, Vinny was totally up for it.

NHB never knew that Vinny like to wrestle like that, with all those body shots and gut punches, and it didnít take long for this match to get down and dirty. Both these guys are in fantastic shape and could last in a match for a long time. But this was brutal. The punching never stopped and both these guys are strong enough that pack a powerful shot. They could both take it too. Vinny was relentless. He wasnít going to lose and he wanted to beat the Londoner badly. Vinny pounded on Dane, but Dane kept coming back. This one is a real brawl. Vinny was the one complaining he was sore after the match, not Dane - surprisingly.

Vinny was pounding on Daneís muscles, and there is a lot of them. Dane is cut, tight, a real wrestler and very strong. He is not used to losing. He was pumped and defined throughout the match. The more Vinny pounded on him, the more defined Dane got. He hurt Vinny a couple of times, and it showed on Vinny, but never on Dane.

This is a great opening match for Rec Room Battles 10.

MATCH 2

Darrin Hoffson vs Chris March

Darrin Hoffson 6í5" 192 31yo
Chris March 6í1" 180 22yo

Here are two NHB favorites - fan favorites too. Darrin (green speedos) just returned to NYC from a trip to California for some wrestling with the west coast boys. He learned a lot and came back ready to show the NHB Boys that he was up to their challenge. Chris (red speedos) is just an incredible guy, as you saw in Rec Room Battles 9. He is more of a lover than a fighter, but he is not afraid to mix it up when he is challenged. He was initially intimidated by Darrinís height, especially those real long legs. But he really wanted to win this match to make up for his lose to the smaller (and scrappier) Tom York.

Darrin is the wrestler in this match and proves it. He used moves and holds on Chris that he learned in CA. The West Coast boys taught him how to use his incredible legs. He has more balance and stamina than he has ever had before. Chris too has been working out with a wrestling buddy of his, learning many more moves and holds. His legs are huge and real strong. He learned the full body scissors and head scissors and he was determined to try his new holds on Darrin.

The finishing arm bar is a totally awesome sight. Both wrestlers are stretched to capacity, straining and brawling. You could see the pain on Chrisí face as he refuses to give in. Darrin just gets more and more determined to win with that arm bar. Youíll have to see the outcome for yourself.

MATCH 3

Seth Ottoman vs Nick Fabrizio

Seth Ottoman 5í7" 178 29yo
Nick Fabrizio 5í7" 190 31yo

Seth (blue speedos) was visiting NYC and asked NHB for a match with Nick (yellow speedos). Seth is a seasoned wrestled and thought he would be able to handle the total muscle package, Nick. But Nick is no wimp. He might be an avid bodybuilder, but he has been an athlete for all of his adult life. Also, he hates to lose, so Nick was up for the challenge.

This match has a fast start and maintains that fast pace. Seth used all his wrestling ability and tried every move and hold he knew to make Nick submit. Nick shows those awesome muscles as he powers out of every hold. Seth keeps using his knowledge and skill to keep Nick from getting him in the finishing move. He is real good at it too.

Both of these guys proved to be as equal a match as NHB has ever seen. There is only one submission, right at the end, when both wrestlers are exhausted. Nickís chiseled muscularity and Sethís quickness and ability are totally tested. Who do you think wins out ñ speed and wrestling ability vs. Bodybuilders muscles and power.

MATCH 4

Frank Savage vs Bert Alvarez

Frank Savage 5í4" 125 30yo
Bert Alvarez 5í3" 135 27yo

Two really good, smaller wrestlers, NHB found out after the match that this was not the first time that these two guys wrestled. Frank (black speedos ), from Washington, DC, has traveled to Philly just a couple of months before this match to take on Bert (purple speedos ). Both of these guys have a lot of submission wrestling experience, so this is a good match of two equal and experienced wrestlers.

But this is not an all out fight, like so many other NHB matches. These two guys had a lot of fun in this match. They verbally taunted each other constantly. The name calling was getting pretty harsh at times, but the wrestling stayed tough throughout. They both knew how to stretch, squeeze, twist, and pound their opponent, and they did. This is a total endurance match. Both wrestlers are so equal in size and wrestling ability that they went the full time limit without a submission. Finally calling it a draw, they left the mat as "good friends", each vowing to beat the other in a rematch.

NHB fans will love the moves and holds, the long held locks and squeezes. At least twice, they were each close to giving up, but they both were experienced enough to wrestle out of the others best holds. Itís going to take an awful lot for either of these guys to make the other give up.
