MATCH 1

Darrin Hoffson vs. Axel

Darrin Hoffson 6â5" 188 34yo
Axel 6â1" 167 22yo

Darrin (blue speedos) asked NHB for a match against Axel (green speedos) after seeing Axel against Trevor Jones. Darrin was confident after seeing Axel lose to Lance Jeffers, but Darrin never wrestled Lance Jeffers. NHB warned Darrin that Axel was very tough and skilled and that he (Darrin) was in for the match of his life. But there was no breaking Darrinâs confidence and he kept the challenge for Axel on the table, fully expecting to get at least two submissions from Axel.

So the match starts with Axel picking Darrin up off the mat and slamming him on his back, bouncing Darrin off the wall on the way down. Axel throws in head locks and body scissors until he tries his awesome leg lock on Darrin. But at 6â5" Darrin is easily able to break the leg lock, just to find himself being choked and body scissored again. The first fall goes to Axel.

The second fall is just as brutal. Axel is all over Darrin. Even though Darrin has traveled all over the US and Europe taking on very many opponents, he has never taken on as skilled a college wrestler as Axel. No matter what Darrin tries on Axel, if doesnât have an effect and the second fall goes to Axel also.

Darrin is so frustrated that he is unwilling to continue the match on this day, but vows he will practice much more at this new home in Canada and will come back to NYC to get those two submissions from Axel.

MATCH 2

Patrick Donovan vs Justin Roberts

NHB e-mailed Patrick (black and red speedos) and asked if he wanted a match with Justin (blue speedos). Patrick e-mailed back "YES, YES, YES". The match was set. NHB thought right from the beginning that this would be an awesome match, and it turned out to be one of the best NHB has ever produced. The wrestlers are in great shape, strong and with true "wrestling smarts". A more even match canât be imagined. It turned out to be Patrickâs experience against Justinâs youth. This match went 5 falls. Score was 3-2 (weâll let you see who the winner is). This is one youâll never get tired of watching.

Justinâs legs are all over Patrick. At the very beginning Justin gets him in a head scissors (the first of many), and a double arm bar. Patrick systematically got out of it and reversed the move. Patrick tries a full nelson, but Justin powers out. Patrick resorts to a vicious body scissors that has Justin grasping for air and groping to get to his feet.

Patrick keeps falling victim to Justinâs incredibly strong legs. Justin begins to realize that he is not going to beat Patrick with just a scissors, so he has to use combination holds. They are painful just to watch. This match is great. DONâT MISS IT !

The rematch is already scheduled between these two muscle boys. Watch for it coming out soon.

MATCH 3

Danny Hunter vs Travis Bee

Danny Hunter 5â9" 138 22yo
Travis Bee 5â7" 127 19yo

NHB welcomes these two lightweight, young, newcomers. Danny (blue striped speedos) contacted NHB for a match and said he had a friend. Travis (black speedos) turned out to be his "hot" friend. Both these guys have minimal wrestling experience, but are in great shape and learning different moves and holds, as well as counters, all through this match. Being friends, neither wants to lose to the other. That always makes for a very aggressive match. Danny appears to be the stronger of the two as he stretches and squeezes Travis. But Travis shows that he can take a lot and still come back to throw in some tight moves and clamps of his own.

Watching these two young guys go at each other is great entertainment. You can sense the determination as Travis breaks out of a tight body scissors, or as Danny wonât let Travis clamp on the full nelson. Caution gives way to recklessness as both these guys want to win. When Danny wins the first fall, Travis is just more determined to look good for the NHB audience and wrestles with every bit of power and muscle he has. He wants to defeat Danny.

Both these guys asked NHB for training and wrestling lessons and they are getting them now. Look for both these young guys in future NHB Matches.
