MATCH 1

Demetrio Yanos Vs. Max Anderson

Max Anderson 5'11" 178 20yo
Demetrio Yano 6'2" 208 22yo

Demetrios (blue speedos) is a big body-builder/model from PA. Recently graduated from College, Demetri wanted a good and workout match. When he saw Max (orange speedos) in REC ROOM BATTLES 23, the challenge was set. Max has been working hard on perfecting his wrestling skills. He's managed to get a couple of tough workout partners that he can train with. He's been working on perfecting his upper body skills and his scissors.

Demeti is much lest skilled. He's only been fooling around with some friends in college. He has awesome strength and he told NHB that he was sure he could just throw around a 180 pounder. We've heard that before. The first five minutes is tough, intense and wild. Max keeps his cool, Demetri goes wildly after him. Of course, Demetri get tired pretty quickly and a tight body scissors from Max has him tapping.

Demetri takes a break and comes back with a whole different attitude. He's slower, more focused and cautious and tries to beat Max at his own style. Now Max has to work a lot harder. The next couple of falls are a lot more competive. The exchange of holds and control is great to see between these two bodybuilders. Max gets so pumped that every muscle in his body is defined. Max has trouble with the big guy, especially when Demetri is on top in control. Demetri tries as many different moves and holds as he can think of and Max is squirming to keep from tapping. Great match to watch. You'll see a lot more of these two wrestlers.

MATCH 2

Kerry Bond vs. Sal Piper

Kerry Bond 5'7" 159 19yo.
Sal Piper 6' 177 30yo

Kerry (blue speedos) challenged the bigger, tougher, and more experienced Sal (black speedos). Kerry has been practicing his moves and holds on his friends. He wanted the match with Sal ever since Sal interfered with his first match against Tino Bravado. Kerry is working out harder, with heavy weights and asking much more experienced wrestlers to show him moves and holds. He is really into a brawl with Sal, and he intends to win.

There are many submissions in this match and very even between them. You can judge the winner for your self. Sal is a master at the front face lock and body scissors. He catches Kerry in that hold at least twice. Kerry has perfected the front face lock, arm bar and how to use his powerful body to stretch his opponent. His awesome legs are also a big problem for Sal. Sal submits in a matter of three seconds after Kerry tightens up on the head scissors. When Sal throws in a sneaky full nelson and body scissors, Kerry lasts for more than 8 minutes in a vicious struggle, but is eventually forced to tap out.

This is a really great match in the Chicago Rec Room. Kerry will be around NHB BATTLE for a real long time (we hope) taking on and destroying many of the NHB Brawlers. He is young, tough and working hard on getting to be an unbeatable wrestler.

MATCH 3

Cole Brooks vs. Bass Berlin

Cole Brooks 5'10" 197lbs 21yo
Bass Berlin 6'1" 188lbs 22yo

Cole (Blue Speedos) e-mailed NHB BATTLE after seeing Bass (gray speedos) in WANNA WRESTLE 23. Cole has limited wrestling experience, but what a body and strong, solid, beefy and a real powerhouse. NHB thought that this would be an awesome match, the skilled, smooth clean-cut Bass, against the super powerhouse Polish boy. And we weren't mistaken.

Cole uses his tremendous power to manhandle Bass, believe that or not. We never thought anyone would be able to control the super muscles of Bass, especially a young guy near his own size. At one point, Cole puts Bass in a head scissors, Bass lifts Cole up off the ground and Cole is completely upside down in the air, but continues to apply the incredible head scissors. Bass slams him to the mat and breaks the scissors, just to be caught in another one and eventually tap out.

The most powerful head locks we've ever had on NHB Wrestling are just some of the holds used for tap-outs. Vicious cross faces, double leg locks and ankle holds and all that. These wrestlers go all out. Bass has his hands full, and it's great fun to see him use that awesome body to struggle against the super polish muscle boy.

NHB loves this match. We're sure you will watch it over and over again.

Match 4

Enrique Tallos Vs Ponch Aviles

Enrique Tallos 5'6" 136 18yo
Ponch Aviles 5'6" 144 18yo

Ponch (blue speedos) comes to NHB BATTLE right off his HS wrestling team He's a freshman in college and in great shape. After seeing his first NHB match, he got one of his teammates to practice some submission wrestling with him. His first choice was to wrestle Enrique (black/red speedos), so we set it up.

Ponch is real strong and skilled and we thought that Enrique might be over-matched. But he hasn't let us down yet and he loves wrestling bigger guys, so we gave him a shot at Ponch. We were surprised and impressed when these guys went a full 28 minutes without a break, and a very even number of submission an tap-outs. But they are both choke-hold wrestlers. They went at each other like they really hated each other. So after the match, we asked.

They actually met each other about 5 months ago, during the summer, at a club in Indiana. They had words in the club and both were ready to go at it right there. Their friends broke it up. Later, Ponch found out that Enrique wrestled for NHB and that is why he contacted NHB to wrestle. So there is not love lost between these two wrestlers.

They choke each other out over and over again. It's actually painful to watch and these guys are out for blood. It's even hard to say who the winner is of this one and you'll have to decide that for yourself and but it absolutely super to watch , like nothing we've had before on NHB BATTLE wrestling.
