Match 1

Erik Brown Vs. Greg Ramsey

Erik Brown 5'9" 162 20yo
Greg Ramsey 5'7" 138 20yo

Greg (Black speedos) is a skilled amateur and professional wrestler from Maine - brought to NHB by Denny Webb. He is without a doubt the most powerful 138 pounder we've ever met. Erik (red speedos) heard of Greg's reputation and knew he was in for a tough match. He sure was right.

Erik is himself very, very strong - chiseled and powerful. Although he lacks wrestling experience, he has been practicing and has a tremendous amount of natural ability. We were convinced that these two guys would wrestle for a real long time without either of them giving up. It's on of those NHB matches where we had no idea what the outcome would be, nor could we guess. The match goes the entire time limit without a submission, just pure , raw, tough and rough wrestling for 25 minutes. Both wrestlers worked awesome moves on the other, and both were able to power out of just about everything. Gregs armbar had Erik squirming in pain, and Erik's body scissors had Greg struggling to escape. No break, no tap out for twenty-five minutes. Total exhaustion for both wrestlers. Erik has already asked for the rematch - and Greg said he is always ready for the challenge. We anticipate these two wrestlers having more than just one re-match.

Match 2

The Young Brothers
Ben Young Vs. Tim Young

Ben 5'9" 173 22yo
Timmy 5'9" 166 20yo

Timmy (purple speedos - ear-ring) watched his older brother wrestle on WANNA WRESTLE 30. He was really impressed with the action and told NHB in South Africa that he too wanted to do a match. Never did we think that his first match would be against Ben (Blue speedos).

These two guys literally almost got into a fight on the morning of the match. It was Timmy's suggestion that they both come to NHB for a real match. "I might as well make some money for kicking your ass" Timmy told his older brother. This is great. These two guys are the same size with massive attitude. Ben is more muscular, but Timmy is more scrappy. He will fight and do whatever it takes to beat his "older bro" badly.

Timmy suffer in Ben's head lock at the beginning of almost every takedown. You can see Timmy is getting very frustrated trying to break out of Ben's huge arms. We were shocked to see Timmy use a vicious head scissors. Ben is really in trouble and can't wrestle out of the head scissors. He has to tap. Jus when you think Ben is pouncing on Timmy, the younger kid comes back strong. This is give and take the whole way - super moves and holds. Both wrestlers use all they have not to tap out.

We're not sure it will happen, but we'd love to get a rematch between these two brothers. Guess we'll have to wait till the next fight!

Match 3

Jake Finney Vs. Max Anderson

Jake Finney 6'1" 205 22yo
Max Anderson 5'11" 184 21yo

Jake (Blue speedos) is a trained pro wrestler making the circuit in the New York City area. He contacted NHB BATTLE and asked for a match against some of our toughest wrestlers. At 6'1" and 205 lbs. of wrestling muscle, we thought of a few guy that would love to take him on. It so happened that Max Anderson (black speedos) was in NYC for a few matches the very next weekend, so the match was set.

Jake is a big guy with a lot or experience. Max is very confident and loves wrestling a real wrestler. Jake takes Max to the mat for the first takedown and wraps him in a tight headlock that we thought Max might not be able to get out of. It lasted a really long time, but, of coursed, Max was able to power out and reverse the hold. Loads of upper body exchanges of muscle between these two wrestlers. Both are trying everything to overpower the other. You can see that a respect for each others ability is being developed along with a need to get the other guy to tap out. These big wrestlers hold nothing back. A great head scissors at the very end of the match, gets the submission, the only one in the match. You can see the victory on the face of the winner and the agony of defeat on the face of the loser. Really great submission wrestling here.

Match 4

Denny Webb Vs. Adam Reis

Denny Webb 5'10" 171 19yo
Adam Reis 5'9" 151 18yo

Adam (black speedos) says he really likes to wrestle bigger guys, so we thought of Denny (blue speedos) right away. Denny has been working out a lot, as you can tell from his most recent pictures. He's put on at least 7 lbs of muscle and he's been wrestling submission a lot. He tosses Adam around pretty easily, and Adam loves every minute of it. These two teens are so evenly matched that this match goes more than twenty-five minutes with just one tap-out - at the very end.

The speed is incredible. Both wrestlers wrested in HS and both placed in their respective state finals. Both know take downs and throws and they use them relentlessly on each other. Denny trapsAdam in some wicked head locks that have Adam using all his incredible strength to escape. Adam gets on top and keeps Denny pinned down a few times, making Denny use all his stamina to turn the tough 18 year old. This is one match you will watch over and over again. You wrestlers will learn many moves and holds from these two tough teens.

Denny complained after the match that Adam just gets stronger and stronger as he wrestles. He never weakened at all, and his holds were just tougher to get out of. Look for much, much more of these two teen wrestlers on NHB BATTLE.
