Match 1

Greg Ramsey Vs. Adam Reis

Greg Ramsey 5'7 138 20yo
Adam Reis 5'9" 150 18yo

This is great. These two trained and experienced wrestlers have been asking NHB for this match for a month. They are both ready, and they are both intent on improving their NHB reputations. Greg (pink speedos) came to NYC from Maine for the match. Adam (red/black speedos) had just finished his last final exam of his freshman year in college. They are both skilled, way strong, powerhouses, young and ready to really wrestle it out.

They spend the first five minutes on their feet in hand-to-hand combat. You will see that they are both getting tried. Neither can get a take-down or throw on the other. Then a nasty throw by Greg has Adam on his back in a wicked head lock. Greg is strong enough to keep Adam down and squirming for a real long time- and he does. Back on their feet, another throw and more mat action. Continuous, unending, mat wrestling. These two wrestlers just won't give up or give their opponent any opportunity.

Greg tells Adam, after the match, that he is the strong 150 pounder he has ever wrestled. Greg has wrestled some 200 pound professional wrestlers on the Maine circuit. Greg also told Adam that there was no way he could handle his arms - "they are way too strong". Adam finally admitted to Greg that he had heard about his super strong legs from Erik Brown and that he (Adam) did all he could to keep out of scissors. "The one time you got that body scissors , I almost taped out".

Match 2

Barrett Storm Vs. Max Anderson

Barrett Storm 6'3" 197 23yo
Max Anderson 5'11" 192 21yo

Bryan Hollister and Jax Holland told their football teammate to wrestle Max Anderson (black & red speedos ). Barrett (green speedos ) is a tough boy, in great shape, very strong. He came to NYC with a determination to beat Max. He felt confident that he could use his long , strong legs to get Max to tap out. Barrett said that he knew if he controlled Max' head he would be able to get him to give up. Well, that is exactly what he did.

In the first three minutes of the match, Barrett took Max to the mat and went to work on his head. He twisted , squeezed and just mauled Max' head and neck until Max tapped out. "I wasn't ready for that" was all Max had to say. But you could tell that Max was going to much more prepared and aggressive to handle the big football player. Max came back tough and totally dominated and controlled the next ten minutes until Barrett gave up in total exhaustion.

Barrett then uses his long, strong legs to catch Max in a head scissors and double chin lock - an awesome hold. It took a while for Barrett to get it just right, but when he did Max was finished - no way out and he knew it. The match goes on for two more falls - incredibly. Max is at his best, his heaviest and his toughest. He is getting ready for a bodybuilding competition in two months. Look for him on TV.

Match 3

Timmy Young Vs. Monte Cameron

Timmy Young 5'9" 166 20yo
Monte Cameron 5'9" 161 18yo

Tim (blue speedos), feeling some confidence after the great match against his older brother, Ben, challenged the way muscular Monte (beige speedos) in another match with the great South African wrestlers. Tim knew that if he got Monte in his wicked head scissors, it was all over. So that was his strategy. But what Tim didn't count on was the power in the muscleboy Monte.

Monte easily clamped on a head lock and held it. He wrapped Tim's arms behind his back and put on the pressure. He tossed and threw Tim around until Tim was forced to tap. At one point, Tim got a submission out of Monte by twisting his foot and hurting his knee. Monte actually was surprised that Tim got the submission. Watching Tim struggle against all that muscle is awesome. Tim loves a challenge. He's already challenging some of the other South African muscle boys. If Tim starts working out, Monte is in trouble, but for now he has nothing to worry about.

Match 4

Joey Jade Vs. Denny Webb

Joey Jade 5'7" 170 28yo.
Denny Webb 5'9" 173 19yo

Denny (red speedos) told Joey (purple speedos) - also a professionally wrestler on the circuit in Maine - about submission wrestling for NHB BATTLE. Joey couldn't wait for a match, and he wanted his first match to be against Denny. Joey had no idea what he was in for. Take a good look at how muscular and built Joey is. He's been wrestling for years, and this is his first submission match. He is as strong as he can be , and you can see that. He tosses Denny and locks him up, but Denny is getting better and better all the time. Denny switches from a tight head scissors to a cross-body ride keeping Joey on the mat. Joey tries headlocking and turning Denny, but can't do it. Then he just lies on his back with Denny's head totally wrapped in his muscular arms and squeezes. It's lights out for Denny.

But It's not over by a long shot. Denny starts showing off, at one point holding Joey in a head lock, looking in the mirror and fixing his hair. Denny grows in confidence during this match - and cockiness. Denny evens the score and then some. Denny is really improving his submission skills. He is becoming a most formidable opponent. Maybe Max Anderson better watch out when that rematch against Denny Webb rolls around.
