Asante Vs. Max Anderson

Asante (blue speedos) called NHB to challenge Max (red speedos) as soon as he saw his against Patrick Donovan on REC ROOM BATTLES 23. Asante and Patrick had a really good match, very even and close, on WANNA WRESTLE 11. When Asante saw the great match that Max gave Patrick, he wanted a shot at the bodybuilder. But Max has been practicing various moves and holds on his bodybuilder friends. He's been letting these other tough guys get him in many holds, and he's been working to get out of them. He's been working on perfecting moves himself, especially using his very powerful legs. Asante was in for the match of his life and didn't know it.
Max brings Asante to the mat right off the bell and throws in his favorite, the cradle. Asante is completely tied up, but never close to tapping. Max continues the onslaught until finally Asante reverses and catches Max in a full nelson that has Max really hurting. Max tries using every muscle in his body, trashes around the mat trying to escape, but Asante holds on real tight and Max is in trouble. Finally, Max just lets his muscular body go completely limp, and slides right out of the nelson. Asante is more than surprised and keeps pushing for more arduous holds but Max isn't going to let that happen. Finally, Max gets on top and wraps both Asante's arms over his head and gets the tap.
The second match is grueling (so is the first) and these two wrestler are spent when it is over. Max keeps up the pressure, using all kinds of new moves and holds on Asante. Asante uses his powerful arms to push Max away and keeps going for a headlock or clamp that Max is not going to let happen. Awesome use of legs by Max, and Max has the muscular legs that can make an opponent grimace in pain. Max has learned how to use his upper body for control and his lower body for the submission. Watch him at work in this match. Look to Max to take on some of NHB's best. Cody James and Bass Berlin are in the lineup for Max. Bobby Bigelow can't wait to take him on.
MATCH 2
Chuck 'Flying Tiger' Collins vs. Marc Matthews

Marc (grey speedos) has been asking for a challenge match against Chuck (yellow speedos) for months. They actually arranged this match themselves and came to NHB with the challenge. Marc is totally confident that he can handle Chuck. He watched the earlier match against Kyle Bradford on Rec Room Battles 5 and Marc was sure he could defeat 'Tiger'.
But Chuck is not a pushover and he may be a smaller guy, but he has beat some of the best. Chuck never turns down a real challenge. Marc starts out with a head lock and brings Chuck to the mat. He cranks it pretty good until Chuck throws a surprise head scissors on Marc. Marc told us later how amazed he was at the power in Chuck's legs. He was afraid that he would tap in just 30 seconds of the first match. There is a lot of give and take for the next 10 minutes, lots of great submission moves and holds from these two experienced wrestlers.
At the end of the second fall, the score is 1 - 1 and Marc is not about to lose. The third fall is decisive, aggressive, very rough and there is a definite (surprise) winner. It's always great to see the more experience wrestlers challenge each other. The matches and holds are OH SO REAL, and the competition is intense. Usually the winner is the wrestler who can contrive the most surprises.
MATCH 3
Cody James vs. Max Anderson

Talk about evenly matched, tough, trained submission wrestlers ! You've got them here ! Cody (blue speedos) is tougher and stronger than ever. Max (pink speedos) is always in great shape ready for a brawl. Both these guys hate to lose more than anything and they are both good brawlers. Cody gets the first takedown and has Max in a tight head lock. Max reverses and gets a body scissors on Cody, but Cody just relaxes in it. Cody reverses trying for a headscissors on Max and gets a cross-face and body scissors that has Max struggling to get out of. He finally stands to break the hold.
Once again they are on their feet ready to go at each other. That is the way the whole match goes, lots of give and take. Cody's temper flairs a couple times. At one point he knees Max in the groin. That stops the match for about 15 minutes, but it sure does continue. The match ends in a draw - both wrestlers agree immediately on a rematch. These two guys are talking about becoming the first NHB BATTLE tag team. They really want to be partners and take on all comers. INTERESTING IDEA ! We'd have to get some rough, tough, probably bigger opponents to take them on. Watch for it only on NHB BATTLE !
