MATCH 1
Jace Davis vs Tom York
Jace Davis 5'8" 142 27yo
Tom York 5'10" 145 24yo
Tom (blue stripped speedos) has been asking NHB for a match with Jace (navy blue speedos) ever since they met at the NHB Rec Room. Tom is in real good shape, aggressive, strong and hates to lose. Jace is a lot more laid back, or at least he is when he is not on the mat. Jace has surprised NHB before with his wrestling ability and his eagerness to win, but he outdoes himself here.
Tom is totally awesome. He looks good, sports great muscularity for his size, is intense and tough. NHB would have picked Tom as the winner of this - and NHB would have been wrong. This is a fierce match. Both guys wrestle, just wrestle. No fists, pulls or anything else in this one. For you wrestling fans (real wrestlers), this is NHB's best so far.
It's great to watch Tom use is awesome strength and overpower Jace often, then to see Jace totally wrestle out of every move and hold that Tom puts him in, is excellent. Jace keeps destroying Tom with his incredibly powerful legs. Tom loses all the matches (four submissions) all to Jaces' legs. All you real, submission wrestlers out there, you don't want to miss this match. All you beginners out there, this is the match to see.
MATCH 2
Darrin Hoffson vs Joe Conte
Darrin Hoffson 6'5" 187 31yo
Joe Conte 6'4" 192 23yo
Joe Conte (tiger speedos ) hails from just north of New York City. He contacted NHB in with the specific request for a match again Darrin Hoffson ( green speedos ). Admitting that he was not a real experienced wrestler, he felt very confident that he could handle the real long Darrin Hoffson muscle, or at least he wanted to give it his best shot. Darrin wanted the match badly when NHB told him about the challenge. He wanted to humiliate the younger, heavier Conte. Darrin has gained a lot of confidence since his recent trip to California. He has perfected his skills and technique and is always up for a good match.
Joe watched some NHB tapes and asked NHB to show him some basic moves and holds before taking on Darrin, so Joe felt he was ready. Both of these guys wrestle with confidence and both are out to win. It's really incredible to see two big guys got at it full force like these two. Both have real long legs and they both use them well. Darrin tried many times to us his weight to keep Joe on the mat, but Joe just pushed him off. Darrin kept trying every move he knew but Joe was able to power out of most - until Darrin threw in an awesome armbar - headlock over his leg. You've got to see this. NHB was surprised that Darrin even knew how to apply it, but Darrin seems to full of surprises. Joe doesn't last long.
The next fall goes to Joe in another incredible match and the last one we'll leave for you to see. This is a real wrestlers match - you won't be disappointed. Both of these will see a lot more action for NHB.
MATCH 3
Eric Malley vs Matt Bauer
Eric Malley 5'8" 149 27yo
Matt Bauer 5'9" 151 30yo
Eric (green speedos) is orginally from Massachussetts currently living in North Jersey. Matt (blue speedos) is an NYC native and resident. Eric contacted NHB to say that he and Matt had a challenge for each other. They had met at a NYC Club and spoke to a couple of the NHB wrestlers and decided to take on each other. The challenge was on.
Both of these guys are gym addicts, as you can tell by looking at them. Both have tight, defined muscles, cut and ripped. Neither was willing to give an inch, at least verbally. When the match started, it was obvious that they were both cautious. Probably, there was an un-admitable respect between them. The caution quickly gave way to real submission wrestling. Watching them both stretch and strain to make the other give up is what makes this match. The longer they wrestle, the more defined each become. It becomes obvious that Eric is the more powerful guy, but as you all now, submission wrestling is not all about power. Matt has speed and agility on his side, and vision quest to be the victor. That is his driving force.
When Eric uses his strength, Matt uses his speed. It is finally Eric's totally incredible head scissors that gets the submission out of Matt, but it takes at least 3 minutes of asking him to give up before he does. Matt, in the next match, just hangs on till Eric can't go any more. He really shows who the more determined wrestler is. Eric hold Matt in a reverse cradle for a long time, but Matt just perseveres to eventually get Eric face down on the mat and submittting.
This is 2 out 3 falls and goes the full time limit. You'll see a lot more of both these wrestlers. Look for both of them on Rec Room Battles 11.
