MATCH 1
Troy Donaldson vs Freddy Oliva
Troy Donaldson 5'11" 175 37yo
Freddy Oliva 5'7" 164 19yo
NHB found Freddy (black runners shorts) working out with a football team at NYAC. Actually he was on the mats wrestling one of his football buddies. This young teen is incredible, even though he has no formal wrestling training. Once he agreed to wrestle for NHB, we knew that his first match had to be against an experienced wrestler so he could learn some moves and technique, so, Troy (red speedos) was the man. Freddy is just incredible. Very few wrestlers, especially smaller guys, have ever been able to throw Troy around the mat, but Freddy proves that it can be done. Troy even admits that he is afraid to let Freddy get him in any good hold cause he might not be able to get out.
At one point while caught in a vicious body scissors, Freddy stands on both feet and lifts Troy off the mat, banging his head on a shelf. Troy is impressed, and a little intimidated, by the strength of this 19yo. Troy wrestles a great match, using that awesome from face lock and body scissors to full advantage. That's is "killer" hold. Freddy fights with all he's got to escape, and does a couple of times, but eventually Troy gets him to submit.
The match continues as it was the first match all over again. Neither of these wrestlers will be even the slightest bit swayed from wrestling as hard as he possibly can. You'll just have to see how hard Troy struggles to control Freddy. Troy uses every bit of his experience to keep Freddy from using the scissors. Troy doesn't take his time or slow down. He wrestles this teenager as hard as he would wrestle someone with 20 pounds on him, and Freddy takes every bit of it, and keeps coming back for more ù even giving some back to Troy.
You can be sure that NHB will personally train Freddy. Keep watching for a strong, skilled and powerful Freddy Oliva in future NHB BATTLES !
Match 2
Lance Jeffers vs Brandon Aldrich
Lance Jeffers 5'8" 156 32yo
Brandon Aldrich 6' 165 21yo
Lance, (purple speedos), from South Carolina, had just returned from "THE CLASH" in Atlanta. He is in probably the best wrestling shape he's ever been in. Brandon, (blue speedos), is an NHB trainee who is just beginning to get the right wrestling attitude. Brandon is young, tough, with a sharp tong. Lance is calm, cool, very experienced, and ready to lay a beating on this young punk.
Brandon starts with an incredible head lock throw that caught Lance completely off guard, and Lance had a real hard time working out of the head lock. Brandon then sits right on Lance's face and for a few moments, has his way with the experienced guy. Brandon then throws in an awesome headscissors that has Lance wheezing. But Lance's skill and experience proves to be no match for the wiry Brandon. A great figure-four headscissors slows the young guy down and a reverse double arm bar and leg full nelson (totally awesome hold) finishes off Brandon.
These guys wrestle two more matches and is not at all one sided. Lots of body punching in this one, Lance definitely getting worst of that, awesome shots to the stomach and ribs. Lance's abs had to hurt for days after the beating they took
Both these guys want a rematch, and that is one that NHB wants too. When Lance gets back to NYC, hopefully in June, you can bet the rematch will be scheduled. Watch for it.
Match 3
Troy Donaldson vs David Dakota
Troy Donaldson 5'11" 175 37yo
David Dakota 5'8" 181 31yo
Troy (white speedos) takes on the tough, skilled David, (black speedos). Both of these wrestlers are experienced submission wrestlers. Both belonging to various wrestling clubs in their home cities, they both wrestle often and accept all challenges. NHB was lucky to find both of these wrestlers in NYC at the same time. This is their first match, but, in all probability, won't be their last.
David uses his great upper body strength to bring Troy to the mat and begin the assault, But Troy is great in the "guard" position and David soon finds himself in Troy's body scissor. Able to just power out, David goes back to work on the upper body and Troy once again has to revert to the "guard" position, but this time, working the body scissors with a great reverse headlock, Troy gets the first submission.
These two guys keep going. It's a very even exchange of wrestling moves, power locks, clamps, and all out brawling. The rest of this match gets rougher and tougher as these two wrestlers will do anything not to lose. The surprising outcome is awesome and we'll leave that for you to see for yourselves. Great wrestling in this one !
